How to decide
In villages and on long boundary walls across Bhind, Morena and Sheopur, cement paint is still common because the area is large. On the house itself, especially the front, Walmasta Lite keeps colour and stays cleaner for longer. Cement paint also needs careful mixing and curing; in the dry months, walls that dry too fast can chalk early.
Before the painter starts: a short checklist
- Fix leaks and damp first; paint will not stop water coming through a wall
- Scrape loose and flaking paint; sand glossy patches so the new coat grips
- Fill cracks, then prime repaired spots and any bare plaster
- Use putty only where the wall is uneven, and sand it smooth
- Cover floors and furniture; remove switch plates and fittings
- Note the shade code of every tin, so a later top-up matches
Questions to settle before you buy either one
- Is the wall inside or outside, and how much sun and rain does it take?
- Is the surface sound, or does it need crack repair, damp treatment or putty first?
- How long do you want to go before the next repaint?
- Do you want matt, soft sheen or gloss, and how smooth is the wall?
- Will the room or surface need regular cleaning?
Answering these usually decides the product more clearly than price alone. Bring the answers to our Gwalior store, or share them on WhatsApp, and we will suggest the right product and quantity.

Yes, after brushing off loose powder and priming as directed.

Not in the way emulsions are. It is meant for low-cost exterior coverage.
Which is easier for a painter?
Emulsions come ready to use; cement paint must be mixed and cured. Many painters find emulsion quicker.
