How it works
From shade card to finished tin
Customer picks a shade
From the shade card, fan deck or a photo. Each Berger shade has a code.
Choose the base
The software shows which base and pack size to use for that product and shade.
Dispense
The machine adds the exact quantity of each colourant into the open tin.
Mix and hand over
The tin is closed and shaken in the mixer until the colour is even.

Why it changes a paint counter
Without a machine, a shop has to stock ready-mixed tins in every popular colour, and still loses customers who want something different. With a machine, the shop keeps a smaller set of base paints and colourants, and can make any shade the customer asks for in the product they want.
The software also keeps a record of each shade made. When a customer returns months later for one more tin for the same room, the shop makes it from the saved formula.

Daily care
Keeping the machine accurate
A well-kept machine gives the same shade every time. These are the basics we train dealer staff on.
Keep nozzles clean
Dried colourant at the nozzle changes the amount dispensed. Clean as per the routine shown during training.
Do not let canisters run low
Refill colourants before they run out so the machine never dispenses air instead of colour.
Protect from heat and dust
Summer heat and dust in the region can affect colourants and moving parts. Keep the machine covered and out of direct sun.
Mix fully
Under-mixed tins show streaks on the wall. Give every tin the full shaker time.
Save customer shades
Record the shade code and product for regular customers and painters so repeat orders are quick.
Call early for problems
