Choosing
Where HomeShield Advanced Latex Plus fits in the range
HomeShield Advanced Latex Plus is in the premium level of Berger’s waterproofing. Similar choices at this level are Dampstop Advanced, HomeShield Dampstop Duo and HomeShield Roof Kool & Seal. The right choice depends on the surface, the look you want and how long you want it to last, so ask us if you are unsure.
Before you buy
- Find where the water enters, which is often far from the stain
- Note the surface: roof, wall, bathroom, tank or foundation
- Check that the surface can be dried before application
- Plan roof work between March and June
Mistakes to avoid
- Applying on a wet or dusty surface
- Treating the stain instead of the source of water
- Leaving cracks and joints unfilled
- Covering a terrace with tiles before the waterproofing has cured
