Basic steps

- Mix the powder with water as directed
- Apply with a brush in two coats
- Cure as per the pack instructions
When the budget allows, Walmasta Lite is a direct upgrade from cement paint, with better resistance to fading and algae. Cement paint still makes sense for long compound walls around farms and plots, for godowns and cattle sheds, and for new brick walls that will be plastered and repainted later. In the dry months across the Gwalior region, the main care point is curing: a wall that dries too fast in the heat can powder early, so follow the pack instructions on wetting and curing.

Is cement paint good for a house?
It works for low-cost exteriors and boundary walls. For a house, an exterior emulsion such as Walmasta lasts longer and looks better.
Does Durocem need curing?
Durocem Extra follows normal cement paint curing. Berger states that Durocem Neo does not need water curing.
